Cranberry orange glaze

Cranberries are high in vitamin C. This cranberry orange glaze recipe provides good source of vitamin C along with good taste.

Serves 4

Cranberry-orange-glazeIngredients:

  • Cranberries – 1 cup (fresh and chopped)
  • Orange juice – 2/3 cup, unsweetened
  • Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar substitute – little to taste

Preparation Method:

  • Combine cranberries, unsweetened orange juice and cornstarch in a bowl and microwave on high.
  • Microwave it for 3 – 4 minutes until the mixture gets thick consistency. Stir properly while cooking.
  • Allow the glaze to cool and add sugar substitute for taste. It will be tart and it can be served along with chicken, pork or turkey.
  • This is a perfect choice as sauce and can be used for marinade, roasting or grilling.
