Cranberries are high in vitamin C. This cranberry orange glaze recipe provides good source of vitamin C along with good taste.
Serves 4
- Cranberries – 1 cup (fresh and chopped)
- Orange juice – 2/3 cup, unsweetened
- Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon
- Sugar substitute – little to taste
Preparation Method:
- Combine cranberries, unsweetened orange juice and cornstarch in a bowl and microwave on high.
- Microwave it for 3 – 4 minutes until the mixture gets thick consistency. Stir properly while cooking.
- Allow the glaze to cool and add sugar substitute for taste. It will be tart and it can be served along with chicken, pork or turkey.
- This is a perfect choice as sauce and can be used for marinade, roasting or grilling.
